Chris Fenton runs the talent & literary management division of H2F along with all consulting work for the Chinese media conglomerate, DMG. With a keen eye for talent, he has assembled an impressive list of promising actors, writers and directors. He also served as a producer on films such as WAITING a film starring Ryan Reynolds and Anna Ferris, its sequel, STILL WAITING, WHISPER a film starring Josh Holloway for Universal/Gold Circle, FOREIGN EXCHANGE a teen comedy starring Ryan Pinkston, the sequel to THE MARINE for Fox, and the recently completed indie thriller, DURESS. In television, he served as an executive producer on THE WORLD’S STRONGEST MAN COMPETITION for CCTV/ESPN and a producer on the MTV pilot THE RYAN PINKSTON THING, Comedy Central pilot THE PAT KILBANE SHOW, and the E! series REALITY HELL.
Prior to H2F he spent two years as a limited partner at MBST Entertainment. He also worked eight years as an agent at the William Morris Agency in the Feature Literary, Feature Talent, and TV Packaging departments. His diverse list of clients included Michael McCullers (AUSTIN POWERS), Koppelman & Levien (ROUNDERS), Geoff Rodkey (DADDY DAY CARE), The WWE, Tony Hawk, SnoopDogg, Dwight Yoakum, Ryan Phillippe and Enrique Iglesias. The experience and relationships he developed at William Morris are a major asset to the company. Fenton’s relationships with several clients, including DMG and its CEO/CCO Dan Mintz, date back to his early days at the William Morris Agency.
Chris Cowles runs the production and development division of H2F. Most recently he held the same position at former Paramount Chairman John Goldwyn’s production company where he shepherded the development of Showtime’s DEXTER series, THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY, the announced Tina Fey project CURLY OXIDE AND VIC THRILL, and the sequel to the ITALIAN JOB. Prior to that he served as the top production & development executive at Scott Rudin Productions working films such as TEAM AMERICA, THE VILLAGE, THE LIFE AQUATIC, SCHOOL OF ROCK, FREEDOMLAND, CLOSER, STEPFORD WIVES, THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE, and THE AMAZING ADVENTURES OF KAVALIER AND CLAY.
He came to Rudin after an senior executive stint at Kopelson Productions developing such projects as the Paramount film TWISTED as well as sequels to Kopelson’s SE7EN and THE FUGITIVE. His first executive position was at Judd Apatow Productions where he put his stamp on the critically acclaimed television series FREAKS AND GEEKS. He spent four years as an executive for Apatow.
